NEBRASKA BOATING LAWS AND REGULATIONS

Keep the days you spend on the water safe and relaxing ones. Make sure that you know all of the NE boating regulations or boating laws that apply to you. One of the best ways to learn the Nebraska state boating laws is to sign up for a boating safety course either online or in a classroom setting. Boating safety courses will cover topics pertaining to navigation, personal floatation devices and required emergency equipment.

IT’S NOT A FEE, IT’S A CONTRIBUTION

Your boat registration serves as documentation to prove that you are the rightful owner of a vessel. There are registration fees that you will need to pay when you register your boat; however, these fees are used by the state to help sustain our natural resources and promote responsible boating.
